Unit 5

Unit 5 is a reflection on your writing and the course. You can approach it in a number of different ways. The question below will guide you through the process:

1. Who were you as a writer before College Writing? What did you write? What was writing to you? (remember the short assignment in Unit 1 about writing in high school? You can draw on that.)

2. How did College Writing change you as a writer? Are you more mindful of your audience? Are you appreciative of the drafting process? Maybe you find outlining more useful than before?

3.Where do you see yourself going in the future as a writer? Are you more confident? More patient with the drafting process?

As you go through the questions, try and reference your essays. You don’t necessarily have to quote but please reflect on each Unit. You don’t have to limit yourself to the above questions.
