Brief description of assessment task
This is both an individual and group assessment task. This task requires students to prepare a detailed situational analysis report after analysing an organisation’s business environment relating to an engineering activity. Analysing the existing internal and external forces that influence the performance of an engineering activity within a business, students will identify a set of strategic options and evaluate them to propose a future course of action/strategy. Each group will prepare a detailed report integrating individual analysis and recommendations, at the same time highlighting the outcomes of analysis performed by each member of the group.
