Write My Essay For MeIn recent years, the topic of government surveillance has become more prominent in American political discourse. Government surveillance raises important questions regarding citizen’s right to privacy and about how far people are willing to trade their rights for additional security. For this paper, watch the video at the following link and then answer the questions listed below:
http://www.pbs.org/video/2365251169/
Questions for the paper:
1. What is the constitutional foundation for the right or privacy? (Give a brief discussion of the particular Supreme Court Case)
2. Do you believe that there is a right to privacy? Do you agree with the what the Supreme Court has said about privacy?
3. Edward Snowden is a controversial figure. Some believe he is a heroic whistleblower who has exposed how the government has infringed on people’s rights. Others believe he is a traitor that has hurt the government’s ability to protect its citizens. Which of these two sides do you think is more accurate? In answering this, discuss how much liberty we as a society should be willing to give up in order to feel better protected from international threats?

Also, feel free to google topics such as “government surveillance” and “right to privacy” and “Griswold v. Connecticut for additional sources.
Papers should aim to be somewhere between 4 to 6 pages (though the most important thing is that all questions are answered in a complete and clear manner). Please use double-spacing and default margins.
Paper #2: Case Summary and Analysis
Paper #2: Case Summary and Analysis
This is the grading rubric for Paper #2. Please review this file prior to writing your essay. The Rubric lays out the information that needs to be included in the paper.
Assignment: For this paper, I would like you to choose which case we discussed in class pertaining to Civil Rights or Civil Liberties that you feel was the most important.**IMPORTANT: this has to be a Rights or Liberties case that we discussed in class (not a case you find in a different book outside of class) AND this has to be a Rights or Liberties case (so not a case like Marbury v. Madison which is important, but not about Rights or Liberties). I WILL ATTACH 3 POWER POINT SLIDES OF CASES WE STUDIED IN CLASS SO YOU CAN CHOOSE FOM WHICH TO BASE PAPER 2 ON.
Write the paper in two sections:
1. Case Summary: This section should be similar to a case brief. Information to include would be the background of the case, What were the legal questions and issues that were raised?, Who won?, What tests did this use or establish (if any)?, etc. Was there anything else interesting going on at the time that sheds light on the case?
2. Analysis: Quite simply, why did you choose this case for this assignment? What right or liberty is the case about and why do you feel it is so important? Why is this case in particular the most important for that right? What lasting impact on society did this decision have? For this section, I am mostly interested in your own thoughts and arguments (although it is always good to support your arguments with some evidence where appropriate). Writing something like: “Case X v. Y was the most important case because Professor Something said it was in this one article I found” will not get a good grade.
Papers should aim to be somewhere between 5 to 8 pages (though the most important thing is that all questions are answered in a complete and clear manner). Please use double-spacing and default margins.
PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE 2 SEPARATE PAPERS AND SHOULD BE 4-5 PAGES EACH.
